2023 Homeschool Graduation

We are so excited to be able to offer an all area graduation, open to homeschool seniors regardless of which association or co-op that you are with.  This commencement is open to all homeschool seniors. Saturday, May 20th 2023, please join us at Lakeside Baptist Church, 615 11th Ave North, in NMB SC for a special day of celebrating our Seniors accomplishments. You may expect a beautiful, formal high school commencement with a processional, keynote speaker, music, programs, tassel turn, and diplomas awarded by parents to their graduating child. We will have a photographer present to capture all the moments for you. We will also have a short video featuring each senior using photos and information families will submit about their senior during the commencement. Tickets are $25 per graduate and covers costs for the ceremony (decorations, key note speaker, printing, reception supplies and refreshments) and are good for graduating student and their families.

Rehearsal will be at 2pm, and the graduates and parent(s) presenting the diploma will need to be in attendance. We will have a break following the rehearsal and group pictures of the graduates. Commencement will begin at 4pm, followed by  brief reception. During this time, families may take pictures with the photographer.

Families will provide for their student: cap, gown, tassel, and any stoles or honors recognitions. Cap and gowns may be of any color preferred by your student. According to state standards, the diplomas will be provided by the parents as well. We will also like you to submit 3-5 photos of  your student for the video presentation. These pictures and videos can be emailed to us at HeatherRiddlePhillips@gmail.com along with their full names, interests, awards, accomplishments, what they plan to do next (college, internship, career, military, etc.)
